Grips for the Ed Brown Bobtail 1911

"with the mainspring housing pin covered"

Esmeralda is able to take any grips on display and modify them for the Ed Brown Bobtail 1911.  Esmeralda's Bobtail design differs in that the mainspring housing pin is covered and not exposed, thereby enhancing the overall appearance and feel of the grips.

This is achieved by cutting an inlet on the underside allowing the grips to clear the mainspring housing pin, whilst also concealing it. (See photo below.)

This results in a smoother hand grip and improved appearance.

To order the Bobtail cut, click on the "order Bobtail cut" button (below left), this will add this option to the shopping cart.  You can then choose to purchase any set of 1911 grips in the website by clicking on the purchase button under those grips.

The modification cost is $29, which covers the corner cut, milling, sanding & re-finishing of the grips.

Allow 4 to 5 days for modification before shipping.
